Magnetic Component Assembly

磁性组件

Magnetic component assemblies combine permanent magnets with soft-iron pole pieces, housings, and hardware into ready-to-install sub-assemblies. By arranging magnetic and flux-conducting elements together, the assembly raises magnetic flux density and total flux — strengthening the magnetic field while saving magnet material compared with a standalone magnet.

AIC Engineering manages the full build — from magnet selection (NdFeB, ferrite, SmCo, AlNiCo) and FEA magnetic-circuit design to precision machining, assembly, post-assembly magnetisation, 100% flux testing, and packaging. The result is a single drop-in part that reduces your supply-chain complexity and incoming inspection load.

Typical assemblies include motor rotor sub-assemblies (multi-pole rings, radial rings, Halbach arrays), sensor modules (Hall-sensor magnet + pole piece + housing), holding-magnet assemblies (pot magnets, channel magnets), and custom OEM magnetic actuators. Each assembly is built to order against your field-strength, envelope, and mounting specification.

Key Features

Integrated Sub-Assembly

Magnets, pole pieces, housing, and hardware delivered as one drop-in part — ready to install, no sub-assembly on your line.

Multi-Material Magnets

NdFeB, ferrite, SmCo, and AlNiCo selectable per assembly — matched to field strength, temperature, and cost target.

Post-Assembly Magnetisation

Magnetise after assembly so the completed sub-assembly meets the specified field pattern and strength — no handling of charged parts during build.

100% Flux Tested

Every assembly is flux-measured and inspected before shipment; ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified build process.

Assembly Types

Built to order — send your field-strength target, envelope, and mounting requirement. Representative assembly types below.

Assembly TypeDescriptionTypical Use
Motor Rotor Sub-AssemblyMulti-pole ring or radial ring magnet on rotor core; post-assembly magnetisation.BLDC / servo motors, traction rotors.
Halbach Array AssemblyBonded or sintered segments arranged in Halbach orientation for one-sided field.Linear motors, magnetic levitation, high-field actuators.
Sensor ModuleHall-sensor magnet with pole piece and housing; calibrated field at sensing gap.Position & speed sensors, BLDC commutation.
Holding Magnet AssemblyPot magnet or channel magnet with steel cup concentrating flux to holding face.Workholding, fixtures, magnetic locks.
Magnetic Coupling AssemblyInner and outer magnet rings with isolation shell for torque transfer.Sealed pumps, mixers, sterile fluid handling.
Custom OEM AssemblyCustomer-defined magnetic circuit, housing, and interface — built to print.Actuators, custom devices, proprietary mechanisms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our magnets, customisation, ordering and shipping.

What is a magnetic component assembly?
+
A magnetic component assembly integrates permanent magnets, soft-iron pole pieces, housings, and hardware into a ready-to-install sub-assembly — AIC manages the full build from magnet selection and magnetisation to assembly, inspection, and packaging.
What types of magnetic assemblies do you build?
+
Motor rotor sub-assemblies, sensor modules, actuator units, holding fixtures, Halbach arrays, and custom OEM assemblies — built to print with 100% flux testing and ISO 9001 quality.
Do you offer rapid prototyping for magnetic assemblies?
+
Yes. Rapid prototyping is available in 3–7 days, followed by DFM and volume-production handoff, reducing your supply-chain complexity.
