Magnetic Filtration System

磁过滤系统

A magnetic filtration system captures and removes ferromagnetic and para-magnetic particles from fluids using high-intensity rare-earth magnets — effectively solving the problem of conventional filters being unable to capture sub-micron metal fines. Fluid is guided through a strong magnetic field region where ferrous particles are adsorbed onto the magnetic element, purifying the fluid.

AIC Engineering builds magnetic filters for metalworking coolant, hydraulic oil, grinding fluid, EDM dielectric, and gear oil service. High-gradient magnetic elements achieve filtration levels unattainable by conventional media filters, protecting downstream equipment from abrasive wear and extending fluid life.

Systems are configured by flow rate, particle size target, fluid type, and pressure rating — from compact in-line units for single machines to high-flow skid systems for central coolant plants. Manual-clean and self-cleaning automatic models are available, with stainless-steel construction throughout the wetted path.

Key Features

Sub-Micron Capture

High-gradient rare-earth elements capture ferrous fines that pass straight through conventional media filters.

Up to 12,000 Gauss

High-intensity rare-earth magnetic elements deliver field strength for fine / weakly magnetic particle capture.

Manual & Auto Clean

Manual-clean units for single machines; self-cleaning automatic models for central plants and continuous flow.

Stainless Wetted Path

304 / 316 stainless-steel construction throughout the fluid path — corrosion-resistant for coolants and oils.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our magnets, customisation, ordering and shipping.

How does a magnetic filtration system work?
+
Fluid is guided through a high-intensity rare-earth magnetic field region where ferrous and para-magnetic particles are adsorbed onto the magnetic element, capturing sub-micron fines that pass through conventional media filters.
What flow rate and capture performance can it handle?
+
Flow rates from 10 to 2000 L/min (model-dependent), sub-micron ferrous particle capture, magnetic strength up to 12,000 Gauss, with 304/316 stainless-steel wetted path and 10 bar pressure rating.
Are self-cleaning automatic models available?
+
Yes. Manual-clean units suit single machines; self-cleaning automatic models extract and discharge the magnetic element for continuous, unattended operation in central coolant plants.
